The TPC Art Tournament
The Thousand Paper Cuts Art Tournament is a yearly tradition which allows us to roll out the new year with a bout of friendly competition. As the grand finale to each year’s Autumn Retreat, the Tournament is preceded by a two day Art Festival, and then the fun begins!
Each year 18 artists compete to see who can most impress our judges and emerge with the title of Masterful Artist.
The Challenges
Over the course of four rounds, the competitors will face four challenges, some as individuals and some as partners or groups, all of which will tax their ingenuity and skills. Each artistic challenge will incorporate unique materials and/or expressive requirements, which means that technical artistic skill is not the most important quality to bring to the contest!
